STAFFS:

Dear Leslie,

I have made enquiries from our Sales Office with regard to a second-hand 4¼-litre Bentley, and frankly they have no proposition which interests me in the least as a good bargain. I would consider that your friends would be much better off with a new car.

The two cars available are:-

a black coupe with a fawn line and light brown leather for £1,375.

and

a 4¼ standard saloon black with brown leather ......... £1,450.

The standard new car is listed at £1,510.

I believe there are some good 3½-litres.

Yours sincerely,
