"Goshawk 11" - Laminated Road Springs.

Mine Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 2/NJ8.11.21 and Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 1/NJ15.11.21, and Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 's note Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 4/M15.11.21.

Upon receipt of Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 's note, I wrote Thos.Firth & Sons Ltd. communicating to them Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 's expression of disappointment and again pressed them to send us some main plates without leaves, leaving it to us to build up complete springs with leaves we already have in stock, to enable our tests to be proceeded with.

Attached hereto is copy of Firth's letter of 17th inst. in reply.

In view of Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 's expression of opinion, I have replied to Firths that they should proceed at once with the manufacture of the main plates.

Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /
