We nearly had a head-on collision with this car, owing to the fact that the brake and the accelerator pedals can be depressed simultaneously unless great care is taken.

Generally speaking, the car is much improved. The following criticisms are made:-

(1) There is a strong smell of oil in the body after a long fast run.

(2) Steering is too heavy. There are road shocks at corners.

(3) The carburation at very low speed does not seem to be too good.

(4) The clutch is too heavy.

(5) Steering column seems to transmit every road vibration to the driver's hands.

(6) The servo squeaks.

(7) The knock in the engine is noticeable.

(8) The clock is impossibly noisy.

(9) There is a transmission period on a wavy road. The re-bound stops appear to be set rather closely to the axle, as it thumps very violently when negotiating humped-back bridges with the control in the soft position.
