BENTLEY CAR 2.B.50.

We are sending the above car into the fitting shop for the following work to be done.

(1) Remove present engine W.III No.6 and fit engine W.III No.9.

(2) Attend to front shock dampers as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham}7/JH. 21.3.39.

(3) Lower steering column 1.00".

(4) Line up propellor shaft and rear axle as follows. With 2 passengers in the car the forward half of prop shaft to slope downwards towards the rear axle 3°, the rear half of prop shaft to slope in same direction 1½°, and the rear axle nose to slope downwards in the opposite direction to the prop shaft 1½°.
