To R.{Sir Henry Royce} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} NoT. c. to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} Hdy.{William Hardy} c. to EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}3/KT. 23.2.33. X40824 DANSPORT-BRAKE WEAR. Further to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/KT. 21.2.33. We find on checking over the leverages between the point where the wear was measured and the shoe centre, that the front brakes have only worn 10% more than the rear brakes, and not 30% more as previously stated. The balance, therefore, between the front and rear brake areas can be considered satisfactory up to the present. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
