Dear Roger,

Many thanks for the catalogues received this morning and for your letter and extract from "Life" magazine of last week - all very interesting.

I was amused at the report of your meeting with Bill and Elizabeth and of the accident to the Cadillac. Incidentally in a recent letter from Bill he says "....we think that the car is very beautiful and C is a very nice fellow, but do explain to him that we cannot possibly afford to buy one" !! So lay off, Roger, and remember that from my point of view one R-R in the family is more than enough!

Reverting to work, we are all intrigued by the catalogue pictures of the new four-door hard top cars with no centre pillars - any information about this type of body will be welcomed.

1. Do the Yanks like them?
2. How do the windows operate?
3. Do the cars shake badly through having no centre support?
4. If so - does anyone care?

Yours ever,
