M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Wilks, Esq. -2- 1.9.37. same time. I have been trying to find out exactly what gives the Rover I have its feeling of instability at high speeds. We have had the car on the Skid Pan. The roll ratings does not seem to be unduly low, and the car appears to under- steer by just the right amount, so one, therefore, concludes that the trouble must be either steering geometry, or shock absorber characteristic. Would you consider trying out a set of Gordon Armstrong dampers on a Rover ? We have been doing a certain amount of development work on these shock absorbers, and they can certainly be made to hold the axles on the road. I would like to come over to Coventry when I get back from my holiday, which will be after September 25th. Could you let me know if this would be convenient, and if so, on what date you and your brother are likely to be at the factory ? Yours sincerely, | ||
