TWO EXPERIMENTAL MYTH CHASSIS

Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/KW.11.9.41, in about a fortnight's time we hope to show you 90% of the Myth chassis parts being made by Derby and almost all the bought out pieces for the body and chassis. The frame has not yet arrived.

You will remember seeing it in an almost finished condition at our last Chassis Conference on June 25th, but since then we understand that Ward has had to stop all car work for about six weeks, due to his other manufacturing commitments.

We have at least a month's work on the frame when it arrives, marking out and drilling before we can start building the motor car. It is therefore, at the moment, the limiting feature.

We brought this home to Ward when he came to Derby on August 26th, and shall press him again when we are in London this week.

I return Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}5/ES.18.7.41, which you sent me some time ago.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG's comments on paragraph 5 were that he was not astonished at how much had been done, but at the fact that anything at all had been done.
