In view of the decision at the Chassis Conference on Tuesday last that we should get Lp{Mr Lappin} to run his car on 6 1/2" tyres, would you please let me know if you are arranging for the supply of wheels and tyres for this purpose, and if so would you have them sent to LH.{Mr Haworth}

I take it it is better that Lp{Mr Lappin} should run all four wheels and tyres of this size, so in order to have the necessary spare we should require a set of five wheels and tyres.

I attach a further report from Db{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} on this question, which seems very satisfactory. Of course his mileage is nothing like that of Lp{Mr Lappin}, and maybe you will see no need for him to continue any further in view of his report. He is only using them on the back wheels, but if you wish him to continue it probably would be more useful if he had them all round. Would you please let me have your views on this.
