To: Cx. {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} 6 1/2" Tyres - Bentley. With regard to my recent conversation, I have now completed a further 300 miles on these large tyres. The last two journeys were over 100 miles each way with a full load and suit cases in the back. Without using the shock damper I found I was able to take corners very fast, using the brakes suddenly and proceeding over a road of large loose flints without any indication that the tyre was touching the mudguard and wheel arches at any time. I also examined the mudguards on the inside, and there was no evidence of their having touched. You might let me know whether youfind this is sufficient, in which case I will have the tyres changed.
