COPY. ========= Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. ======== 16th December 1929. Dear Sirs, ORDER NO/F.32244. WO/F.32245. We are returning to you per passenger train today two Brass Radiator Shells, sent to us for Chromium Plating. We regret that we have not been able to make quite so satisfactory a job of the chromium plating of these as on the white metal cases. This is largely due to difficulties with the nickel deposits over the soldered joints and chromium plated filler neck. It will of course be necessary for us to increase our charges somewhat for chromium plating brass shells, and the approximate increase will be 10/- per shell. Yours faithfully, HARCOURTS LIMITED. | ||
