Raymond Mays' Bentley - XXXXXXXXXXX. knock. Bad piston knock until warmed up. Outstanding tappet knock. The engine is smooth throughout range and remains good when thoroughly hot, reving up light, damper load appears to be down. Detonation low speed full throttle. CLUTCH Fierce. Jaggers and easily stops engine on inclines. GEARBOX. clonks. Slack in box when using gears causes bad transmission STEERING Very heavy cornering and is not directional. BRAKES. Efficient. Bad squeaks when unexpected, cannot be re-produced at will. Servo squeaks. REAR AXLE. Bad clonk from driving dogs. BODY WORK.
