| Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} 261SS{S. Smith} RAYMOND MAYS' CAR. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.29.7.37. We omitted to mention that the driving dogs on the rear axle of this car were in a very bad shape, and we supplied two of the strengthened type for fitting. In view of the owner's comments on the clutch, we are proposing to fit a standard clutch plate with Thermoid linings as we have now some of these available, and, if satisfactory, we should propose to standardise them. Thermoid is, of course, the lining which has given such complete satisfaction on the P.III. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
