X4613 S/W. (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) C/Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}2/HH30.1.26. Scuttle Ventilation. We believe that some time ago you conducted some experiments in connection with the ventilation of the front scuttles of both 20 H.P. and 40/50 H.P. cars. In connection with these experiments did you obtain any information please, relative to the influence of louvres when side ventilators, hinged at the rear or at the front, are fitted to the scuttle. On the face of it, it would appear that when louvres are cut in the sides of the bonnet the side ventilators would permit of the entry of hot air escaping from the bonnet. c/Hch | ||
