To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X4038 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG17.1.29. K.S. PETROL GAUGE. X393 As you know, we have had to move this unit in the tank in order to allow for outside bodies. We are now trying to arrange for a neat cover to enclose the air lines between the tank unit head and the beginning of the armoured cable. In order that we may avoid interferring with the coachwork, we should like a scheme shewing the extreme overhang of the body which we expect to get at this point.
