X.4305 Extract from OY1/LG 3.6.21. X.3764 (14) HEATED INDUCTION PIPE. This is as now fitted on American production, except that nozzles are fitted inside the exhaust boxes at each end pointing up into Nos. 1 and 6 exhaust outlets, to increase the heat of the pipe. These nozzles are not standard on American production but it is anticipated that this will be done in a simpler way (shown on enclosed print) as soon as an experimental set has been run and tried out.
