Dear Bill,

I thank you for sending me the particulars of the Ulster Races.

I am afraid that it is extremely unlikely that I shall be able to go, as we have had rather a lot of upheavals here lately. If, however, it looks more hopeful nearer the time, I shall have to take the risk of getting accommodation.

Could you let me have the drawing of your front end stabiliser? If you would supply this, I would have one made and fitted.

The motor seems to have fallen off in power, but as it has now done nearly 15,000 miles, this is only to be expected. Have you any records which would confirm this?

Yours sincerely,

Richard.
