[Illegible] REPORT ON [Illegible] Following a meeting of the [illegible] Committee held on the [illegible] March 193[?], Mr. [illegible] raised the question of the interference being experienced with the T.V. reception from the engine on the test bed. He was informed that a considerable amount of work had been done in this direction, but that no complete solution had as yet been found. It was, however, pointed out that the suppression applied to the plugs had very little effect, the majority of the interference appearing to be radiated from the H.T. leads and ignition system. It was agreed that a further report should be prepared for the information of the Committee, outlining the present position. This report is submitted below. During the early part of last year, a series of tests were carried out on a [illegible] engine on the [illegible] test bed with a view to ascertaining the contribution of the various components of the ignition system. A fully screened ignition harness was fitted, and a screened magneto was also fitted. | ||
