S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} X459 H3/EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/7.5.25. Re:- Petrol Consumption and Chocker Valves. Re your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/IG5.5.25 I am most disappointed to note that you think no improvement can be effected to the petrol consumption of those cars on which a sensible increase of consumption has been noticed after the fitting of front wheel brakes. I have to call next week on Mr. Duncan Paterson, where the consumption is increased at the rate of 2 miles to the gallon. I had hoped to receive a suggestion that would have enabled me to make some adjustment to meet this curious result. Can you help? H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} | ||
