Brake Drums - Myth.

It was arranged with Mr. Parnell of Lockheeds a short time ago that the first Myth should have brake carrier plates of Lockheed design, of their standard pattern and also with their standard method of water exclusion. This means that the brake drums detailed for Myth will not be suitable for the first car.

We have now obtained from Lockheeds their drawing PR.939/4 shewing their suggested clearances between brake drum and carrier plate, and this is attached to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's. copy, together with PR.906 and PR907, arrangement of brakes with Lockheed carrier plates. Will Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. detail the new brake drums and hubs from the information in these schemes and instruct accordingly?
