COPY 74050 Exptl. Dept: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KW. 26th November, 1934. Mr. Healey, The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Dear Mr. Healey, Here are photographs of some of your 7.50 x 17" tyres which have been running in France on the front of a Cadillac 16 at a pressure of 35 lbs/sq.in. These were triple stud pattern. The mileage was 5,250. This mileage is about the same as that we obtained on the last Phantom running in France. We are now going to run on "90" type tyres. We should be glad if you would let us have these photographs back for our records after you have looked at them. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. See File 1729a for full information re 10,000 miles test on Cadillac. | ||
