To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X35/1 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}19/KW. 25.1.35. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Petrol Tank. There is a scheme for the Bentley Petrol Tank whereby a baffle LeC.4041 is fitted to prevent the surging of petrol round the petrol gauge tank unit float. We should like to have a similar scheme on the 2nd and 3rd SpectreCodename for Phantom IIIs to which we are intending to fit units incorporating the low level petrol warning device. Will you therefore please arrange for these baffles to be included. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/J.Bowering. | ||
