46094 357 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Ha/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}7/KW. 29.9.34. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Petrol System. On the above system at present, the fuel supply pumps are only connected to one ignition, namely, "A"; therefore the car cannot be run on "B" ignition for any length of time without running dry of petrol. We would like to try out a scheme as shown in attached rough sketch, whereby one pump is connected to "A" and the other to "B". An intermediate switch is incorporated between the two pumps, so that they can either be used as a twin or single units on either ignition. Will you please arrange to have this work carried out.
