Dear Hives:-

X.3916. Re American Bosch Magnetos.
X.4285.

The American Bosch Company have asked me to inform you that the new DUZ-6 machine which you took to England has now had the oilless bushing in the distributor spindle cancelled in favour of the older type of oiled bearing as used on the ZR-6. The ball bearings of the armature spindle are still not provided with oilers however.

You may remember that they expressed some doubt about the DUZ-6 machines when you were here, and evidently in regard to the distributor spindle they have proved unsatisfactory.

We forget which machines you took to England, but believe they were 2 DUZ-6's and 1 ZR-6, and one set of battery ignition. Is this correct ?

Oy.
