Tests have been made on the bench with the above combination running in conjunction with a standard battery ignition distributor with a make ratio set to .500. The HT spark gaps used were set to 5.5 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} With the distributor running at normal speed i.e. 700 rpm sparking was OK both with a supply at 12 volts and 10 volts; at 8 volts misfiring occurred at all speeds. The maximum regular sparking speeds were as follows;- 12 volts - 1600 rpm of distributor 10 volts - 1000 rpm " " Signed H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
