RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 X.8710 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To E7C. Order No. Customer's No. X.8710 Date 20-10-1927 Herewith the coil West brought along to me the other day. You will remember that this coil has 1/3 less iron in its core than standard. Otherwise it is the same as the other S.P. coils you are testing. I suggest you try this coil with a ballast 50% longer than standard as has been done. This & it appears quite OK & of course takes less current. I am interested to know how this coil behaves on your test. Perhaps you will let me know.
