be preferable to the mercury cup one as it would be cheaper & although the fused metal would be lighter than mercury it would have a higher specific heat so that it should work equally well. If you send me sketch of present plug I will forward proposed modification. I am a draughtsman employed on Aircraft work in Messrs. Combe, Barbour's, Falls Foundry, Belfast.
