Avon Double Tread Tyres.
-----------------------

These are at present fitted to 1-J-III and to date have covered 1,580 miles.

They were originally fitted to Mr. Lappin's car GLN-60, and he ran them for 750 miles.

Mr. Lappin objected to the tyres, mainly for noise, and also said that they were not so good as Dunlop as an anti-skid tyre. At his wish we removed them and fitted a set of Dunlop Silent Tread Tyres.

From our experience we entirely agree with the above views, and wish to say that from a sales point of view the noise alone would condemn the tyres.
