After we had completed our tests on the steering, we handed this car over to the Test Dept. to carry out the work which we understand you had arranged to be done. We have pointed out to them the troubles with the body but I doubt whether they will be able to improve it very much; it is a job which the coachbuilders ought to tackle. We tried ourselves fixing some stiffening plates in the scuttle, but then it developed so many groans and squeaks we thought it wise to leave them off. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} will no doubt let you know when the car will be returned to you. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
