X8950 PN{Mr Northey}7/DN17.6.26. TO Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM PN{Mr Northey} c. to Bk{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager} 103-MC - Hydraulic shock-absorbers. Further to my PN{Mr Northey}4/DN16.6.26, this car has to be out of our hands in the service of the Prince of Wales from the 29th June to the 5th July. Consequently it becomes desirable that the work to be done to it in respect of decarbonising and fitting hydraulic shock-absorbers should be done before that time, and then, if necessary, the hydraulics can be left temporarily for the Prince's use of the car and fixed on again before the car goes to France. I am proposing to send this car to you on Wednesday, the 23rd inst. for the work to be done and shall be glad to hear from you how many days you will require it for the purpose.
