This car is at present dismantled after 10,000 miles running in France - it is proposed this car should be built up with the following improved pieces and then returned to France for a further 10,000 miles. ✓1. Strengthened steering box in aluminium bronze. ✓2. Improved ball ends for front and rear shock absorbers. ✓3. Stronger brake compensating shafts. ✓4. Brake drums with damper rings. 5. Improved Differential. Tests will be first made on the dynamometer to prove that the alteration to shafts or pinions overcomes the trouble of the Differential wearing. ✓6. Stronger axle shafts. ✓7. New commutator for generator. 8. New cover for distribution board. 9. Improved side brake lever to prevent rattles. 10. Improved dumb irons - larger rivets. 11. Larger rollers for rockers. 12. Improved water drain tap. 13. Improved control for throttle to get a more gradual opening. ✓14. Improved grooved spring bushes - either steel or bronze whichever proves satisfactory. ✓15. Improved high tension rotor to overcome risk of short-circuit. 16. Improved starting handle bracket cover. 17. Modifications to prevent oil leaks from front and rear end of engine. contd:- | ||
