To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X3729 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M3.1.25. RE. SEATING POSITIONS. X.3730 X.8430 X.3729 X.8830 In view of the little difficulty which exists in measuring compressed cushion heights and distances back from the wheel we suggest that it would be a good plan to have a temporary frame seat made of wood which gave the compressed cushion height and the compressed back rest distance in accordance with our instructions to coach-builders. This would eliminate any question of the measurements of different people not agreeing. If, after this is tried, any one steering is agreed to be uncomfortable there would be no question but that it should be altered. We do not think the car coming down here should be delayed for this, but such a gauge seat could be prepared for use as soon as possible. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
