re OIL PUMP GEARS.

Further to our Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}2/HR.27.1.38., in connection with excessive wear of the bearings of our oil pumps, and the suggestion we made concerning the drilling of lubrication holes, we now send you herewith the gears removed from B.119-GP. Mrs. Greenall after only 3,000 miles running.

We consider this amount of wear is sufficiently serious to warrant some action being taken.

Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}

We also send the gears removed from B.58-GA Summers.
Mileage 4,000.
