Efficiency of Brakes
on RR and Bentley Cars.

If you have not already done so, I should be glad if you would study the Road Test Performances given in 'The Motor' this week on Page 265.

You will see that in comparison with other cars the 3 1/2-litre Bentley and RR 20/25 show up badly. For instance -

3 1/2-litre Bentley
82% from 30 m.p.h.
76% " 50 m.p.h.

Rolls-Royce 20/25
80% " 30 m.p.h.
75% " 50 m.p.h.

A study of the others will show -

3 1/2-litre Alvis
90% from 30 m.p.h.
82% " 50 m.p.h.

3 1/2-litre Hotchkiss
100% " 30 m.p.h.
95% " 50 m.p.h.

4 1/2-litre Lagonda
96% " 30 m.p.h.
84% " 50 m.p.h.

Railton
100% " 20 m.p.h.
89% " 40 m.p.h.

14 h.p. Rover
98% from 20 m.p.h.
92% " 40 m.p.h.

17 h.p. Armstrong
95% " 30 m.p.h.
90% " 50 m.p.h.

12 h.p. Flying Standard
98% " 30 m.p.h.
88% " 40 m.p.h.

I should be glad to hear from you after you have studied the matter.
