Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re GLG-5. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E17.12.35 Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}E. Referring to my Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E16.12.35 there is one point that I omitted to mention and that is that I noticed the temperature of the water is about 5° or 10° more than before. One would expect this with the same radiation but the larger engine. I believe that we are able to increase the radiation without necessarily altering the size or shape of the radiator and it seems to me that this ought to be done because the cars will be in production before the hot weather is with us and we do not want to turn them out and then have boiling complaints after-wards. Saturday was a very cold day but I noticed after fast running the temperature was up to about 85° which leaves a very small margin. Please let me know what it is proposed to do. Sg.{Arthur F.
