Vickers} 8/MF. 27.3.44 I am very sorry that your note on the subject of torque converters has been overlooked - the recent drive on the Merlin 100 is, I am afraid, my only excuse. No doubt your suggestion to send up drawings and if possible a sample would be the best approach to the problem, so that after we have considered the problem and made our recommendations, you could get Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to agree to further development work being carried out here.
