| 276 261/D Raymond Mays EASTGATE HOUSE BOURNE LINCOLNSHIRE TELEPHONE: BOURNE 17 November 22nd 1937. S.W.Grylls. Esq. Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd. DERBY. Dear Sir, I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 19th inst. and think under the circumstances it would be advisable as you suggest to fit silver cellulosed wheels to Mr.Raymond's new car, and then when he returns, if he so desires he can then have them chromium plated. I have had a word with Mr.Peter Berthon regarding this matter, and he suggested the above. Thanking you. Yours truly. Inesie Burchell. Private Secretary. P.S. Unfortunately the post to South Africa takes 17 days each way, so it would not be much use waiting for Mr.Raymond to communicate regarding this item. | ||
