X4617P 24th August, 1928. EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T. Messrs. Peto & Radford, 50, Grosvenor Gardens, London, S.W.1. Dear Sirs, R.R. Batteries. We thank you for your letter M {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} /A238 of the 23rd. inst. and we are in full agreement with the various proposals for modification put forward. FA.11 Cells. There is a point which may be worth mentioning in regard to our FA.11 cells, now that the new wood and ebonite separators with which you have provided us --- after discharging and subsequent rest, on starting to charge the cells a red stain appears which seems to come from the separators and disappears again as the charge proceeds. We presume that this causes no detriment to the cells, but we would like your confirmation. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
