Left Page: THE SEPARATOR FILTER REQUIRES A LITTLE ATTENTION. No water can possibly pass through filter unless such quantity has accumulated in lower chamber E as shall reach level marked F.{Mr Friese} Therefore, to guarantee absolute immunity from the annoyance of water in carburetter, all that is necessary to do is to open drain cock C just so often as may be necessary to keep chamber E free of water. It is a safe rule to open same, say once a week. If water is present when drain cock is opened, the water will flow first. Therefore, if on opening cock clear fuel only flows from same, it can, of course, be immediately closed again. The above is really all the attention required, and we feel that no one will consider same too much, when they know that by doing so little, they will be freed from the unspeakable annoyance of choked carburetter jets, due to water or other foreign matter.
