Sidgreaves - MD} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} LS. 1. Production Output. A schedule of production for 1938 given in RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}1/MJ.17.9.37 and C.9/C.1.10.37 was referred to and RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} said he agreed to O's programme and is working to it. 2. Material Orders. Wraith. It was agreed that RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} should get a quotation for 500 sets of Wraith with a view to discovering what economies would accrue from ordering large batches. Bentley. No action is required for this chassis at present, but at the present rate of output we should get a quotation on about February 12th.1938, if we should decide to proceed with another 200 sets. 3. Wraith Costs. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} emphasised the importance of continuing to attack Wraith costs from every angle. We shall be in a better position to give material costs when RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} has obtained the information referred to in No.2. 4. Wraith Development. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s memo was discussed. With regard to the Front Roll Rod, this will not be pushed for the first six cars. The 10,000 miles car will be delivered to London for Sales opinion on about the 23rd.Jan. and will leave for France a week later. | ||
