FRAMED INSTRUMENTS. --------------------- With reference to EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/31.10.27, we are arranging to carry out the modifications in regard to the brake lever and the Enots lubricators on the rear road springs, and for the first two Sports cars to be fitted up with framed instruments out of the six sets which we have produced. In regard to the engine revolution counter, three makes have been fitted at customers request, viz. Waltham, A.T. and Rotherham, but the Waltham has been fitted in the majority of cases. We are obtaining particulars of the Waltham instrument to send on to you, but we are unable to state definitely that any of these instruments are satisfactory. As a matter of fact we are under the impression that they are noisy, which we believe to be due to the small bevel drive which the makers provide for fitting at the front end of the wheelcase on the engine.
