(7) Evolution of a simplified duplex exhaust system.
(8) Run the new water pump bearings.

TEST BED WORK.

(1) Complete development work on the standard 8 cyl. induction system particularly with regard to loading up.
(2) Investigate whether the cheap air silencer has spoilt the distribution on the Ripple.
(3) Check the road results for consumption on the duplex Stromberg system.
(4) Examine the latest Chevrolet pipe and let us see whether we can learn anything from size or shape (know its a 3 port). Carry small pipe to limit, also small choke.
(5) Do some experiments with our latest "Two Size" induction system.
(6) Develop a "continental" 8 cyl. engine with S.U. Carbs.
(7) Continue running 3 layer big end bearings.
(8) Get a high power block chrome plated in the bores (use unit we are re-building).
(9) Carry out experiment oiling distributor drive through the camshaft.
(10) Try an un-balanced electrically controlled choke as a means of starting 2 S.U. carbs. Try a tougher bi-metal strip.
(11) See if increased heat to the hot spot does permit of much leaner mixtures being burnt (use glycol electrically heated if necessary).
