Could we not have a design which would give more
certain metallic connection ?

In the meanwhile we are hoping to improve the
contacts on these parts by having a piece of presspan on
each side of the condenser for a limited extent on each side
of the centre line, this bringing a more definite and
concentrated pressure on the contact than the original method
where the presspan was the width of the condenser itself, and
was used on one side only.
