Customer's No.: 1 Effect of Temperature on Goshawk Rolled Paper Condenser. About a year ago a Goshawk paper condenser was tested in its case, for variation of capacity, with temperature. The condenser was stood upright in a beaker of water and warmed slowly, Capacity readings being taken at intervals of about 5°c (by a thermometer in the water) from 16°c to 50°c. The effect was, that the capacity increased nearly uniformly, to approaching double its value at starting, as shown on curve attached. No appreciable leakage occurred, until getting near 50°c as found. Signed: (Corrected) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
