To RH{R. Hollingworth}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}

We thank you for your letter RH{R. Hollingworth}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}15/IH 23.1.39.
just received.

Regarding the body mounting bolts, we are awaiting dry roads, to mark them for this tear.

The valve noise from the OSF damper is not sufficiently bad to require attention, being only noticeable on sharp wheel movements such as hitting a pot hole, we note your remarks & will carry out your suggestion should it become necessary.

We have not yet received the silentbloc rear damper links, Marchal bulb adaptors, or hub cap yet but have asked Paris to make enquiries.

Thank you for the signed form, your cheque book will follow in a few days.

We are disappointed to hear of your opinion regarding worked & driving hours, but there appears to be a misunderstanding.

On the 16th inst we took over the car from RFM & F.V.H. at about 2 p.m. & having received a warning about the lamps thought it best to proceed to Paris, where enquiries could be made regarding the seats from Vanvooren, etc. which by the way were still held up. We asked them to proceed with the car quickly in case the car was recalled.

We arrived at Chateauroux the following mid day & spent the afternoon examining the car, checking oil levels etc. On the 18th we spent the morning cleaning the garage & making up & sending off the six tyres, also two oil pocket papers to Paris & further jobs on the car.

Thus the first three days account for 12 1/2 hours.
