REAR SCREEN.cont. It should fold down as close to the deck as possible, and should have a rubber buffer at its centre to prevent its damaging the deck paint. The friction clamps must be in line with the side hinges. The base member, which bolts against the deck must be made torsionally rigid. It should consist of a metal box ( 22.S.W.G. steel.) welded up, and should have suitable aluminium packins inside. The screen must be well held, up under the deck when it is not in use. WINGS. We do not wish to have a vertical face to the outer eges of the wings. The inner valances of the rear wings should be left until the chassis is available. As soon as the writer hears that you are ready to see him he will arrange to call. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. H.I.F.Evernden. FRONT SCREEN PILLAR. RIVET & WELD ON SCREEN WIPER | ||
