W/P. To Sr/VA. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}11.11.37. RE. B.35.KU - BARIS TRIALS CAR. We thank you for your note Sr/VA10/ET.9.11.37 regarding the two Bentley cars to which you have fitted the Long type clutch plates. We are to-day forwarding to you another plate for the above car, and you will note that this is a Borg & Beck plate fitted with Thermoid facings, and this type has just been standardised for use on production. Our general experience is that this type of plate fitted with Thermoid is practically indistinguishable from the Long type as far as results are concerned.
