CHASSIS - REAR AXLE.
RE TESTING OUT OF DUNLOP STRAIGHT SIDED TYRES MANUFACTURED BY THE DUNLOP COMPANY AND LOOSE FLANGED WHEELS SUITABLE FOR SAME.

Referring to the visit of Col. Matthew and Mr Bond of the Dunlop Company, they have now given the matter consideration and forwarded a complete of conditions under which the test should be carried out as far as possible.

They also propose sending their Mr Fox who is one of their test Inspectors dealing with the question of tyre reliability and mileage. He will, of course, discuss with Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, at the time of his visit, the whole question.

I attach copy of the Dunlop letter dated 4.6.20, reference WB{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}/GG.
