Dear Sirs,
Many thanks for your letter of the 28th inst., re the use of a 2" wide Shoe.
Our layouts will therefore make use of our standard 12" x 2" shoe pressing.
We also note that your lining is 5/16" thick as against our 3/16" thick, which accounts for the ½" extra on drum diameter.
Yours faithfully,
for NEW HUDSON LIMITED,
Alex Fraser
GENERAL MANAGER.
