(1) Material specification throughout as standardised on Ph.III, including support central tube. (2) Holes in the baffles to be equal in area to the mouth of the filler cap. (3) Standard Bentley filler to be used as a vent at the near side of the tank, highest point. (4) Height of filler and vent to be 16½" above rear chassis tube. (5) Petrol gauge to be located as shewn at the front of the tank, float to read 30 galls. only. Send print of tank to Smiths to enable them to get on with gauge.
